The Hyndland Fox are currently seeking experienced Chef de Partie to join their team in Glasgow’s West End.
Our site at Clarence Drive has been providing the people of Hyndland with artisan food and drink since 1982, now 32 years later we’re carrying on the tradition with eggs poached to bursting point, big bowl salads, sharing platters and an extensive drinks list.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for the highest level of quality dishes that will exceed customer’s expectations.
This role of Chef De Partie will involve developing and learning new recipes, daily preparation and presentation of food and ensuring the kitchen is kept hygienically clean, in accordance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.
You will be technically strong with good communication skills, and have the ability to run your own section. You will also be required to ensure service, production, and legislative standards are maintained and that these standards are communicated and trained to new employees.
It is preferable that you have a couple of years’ experience in a high volume kitchen environment and are able to work well within a team and provide efficient support to the Head Chef.
This role requires the successful candidate to be flexible and able to work shifts as well as evenings and weekends.
